Profiles of our Chief Executive and executive directors
The senior management team implement the strategic direction set by the Council. They make sure that our policies and processes, both internal and external, are of a high standard.
Our Interim Chief Executive and Registrar is Paul Rees.
Accountable to the Council, the Chief Executive and Registrar is responsible for leading and managing the NMC’s professional, business and financial affairs.
Our executive directors are:

Kuljit Dhillon - Interim Executive Director of Strategy and Insight
Lesley Maslen - Executive Director of Professional Regulation
Miles Wallace - Acting Executive Director of Communications and Engagement
Sam Foster - Executive Nurse Director of Professional Practice
Helen Herniman - Executive Director of Resources and Technology Services
