Profiles of our Chief Executive and executive directors
The senior management team implement the strategic direction set by the Council. They make sure that our policies and processes, both internal and external, are of a high standard.
Our Acting Chief Executive and Registrar is Helen Herniman. Work has commenced on selection processes to appoint both an Interim Chief Executive and Registrar and make a permanent appointment.
Accountable to the Council, the Chief Executive and Registrar is responsible for leading and managing the NMC’s professional, business and financial affairs.
