Helen Herniman
Acting Chief Executive and Registrar
Helen Herniman is currently Acting Chief Executive and Registrar. Work has commenced on selection processes to appoint both an Interim Chief Executive and Registrar and make a permanent appointment. Helen’s substantive post is Executive Director of RTS which is being covered by Tom Moore in the meantime.
Helen is a chartered accountant with several years’ experience leading finance and corporate service teams across a wide range of organisations in different sectors. Previously, Helen spent six years in finance and operational roles at the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Law Society in England and Wales. As chief finance officer she was instrumental in leading corporate services through cultural change and transformational processes to set up a high performing shared services team for the Law Society.
Helen is an advocate for customer service, diversity in the work place and valuing people.
