Kerri is a registered midwife with almost 20 years’ experience. Having recently joined Health Education England (HEE) as Lead Midwife following a national role in Wales as Associate Director for nursing & midwifery workforce transformation.
Her midwifery career has seen her work across both hospital and community settings and has won several awards: locally for health professional of the year 2011 for her work with working with young parents, and in 2017 for fundraiser of the year helping to establish a bespoke bereavement suite for parents.
Kerri has a strong professional compass with regard to escalation and patient safety, supporting the raising of concerns which led to review of a maternity services and a strong focus on maternity improvements.
Kerri has a particular interest in the students voice and promoting high quality education and experiences.
